Osama bin Laden’s ‘right-hand man’ Abu Qatada wins bail fight – Times Online h/t Kris.

An extremist Muslim cleric regarded as Osama bin Laden’s “spiritual ambassador in Europe” must be released on bail, a judge ruled yesterday.

Abu Qatada, 48, who won his legal fight against deportation to Jordan last month, will be freed from prison under strict bail conditions, amounting to 22-hour house arrest, despite being deemed a threat to national security.

The cleric applied to the Special Immigration Appeals Commission (SIAC) for bail on the ground that it was inhumane to detain him indefinitely if there was no prospect of his being deported.

The order by Mr Justice Mitting to release him is the latest in a series of judicial decisions that undermine the Government’s stance on terrorism. In the past year, the courts have in effect rewritten sections of terrorism legislation and ruled that financial sanctions on terrorist suspects were absurd and unlawful.

So, errr, the same Government who wants to stablish a regulation to record all critizens’ e-mails and phone calls of all the people inside the UK, just in case they are needed in a counter-terrorist investigation. That same Government who has lost data and more data from those citizens. That same Government who has lost documents considered as Top Secret, first ones about Irak war and the fight against Al-Qaeda and then about how the terrorists get financed. That same Government who has filled London with security cameras to spy on their citizens, placing them even on dustbins and who has defended all that because «we can’t fight with 19th century means, 21st century challenges»… That same Government who has insisted a law must be passed to retain people for 42 days, at the most, without charging them in counter-terrorism processes….

That same Government has released one of the most dangerous terrorists in UK, Abu Qutada, considered the Bin-Laden’s Ambassador in Europe, on condition that: «he is banned from meeting with Osama Bin Laden in London».

Just not giving my opinion. I am so angry… And no, this is not because someone is «imbecile» or that other is not «responsible enough».

But don’t worry: in Spain, the Central Intelligence Agency (the Spanish one, not US) has being spying on a Constitutional Tribunal Judge, García-Calvo (against whom even a hookup was made) and who died some weeks ago just before having to take part in several very important decisions (homosexual marriage, Catalonian Statute), with presumably he would have voted against the Government’s position. And also we have the pedophile

Los responsables de este nuevo desaguisado en materia contra-terrorista han sido los de una comisión del Gobierno para las «Apelaciones en Inmigración», que le ha puesto como condición (pásmense todos ante la dureza de la condición):

Obispo Dimmi recibe amenazas de muerte

Pues sí, y no parece ser que los que se las han enviado sean musulmanes precisamente, porque están vinculadas a su apoyo a que suene en Oxford la llamada musulmana a la oración h/t IBA:

The Bishop of Oxford has been sent death threats after backing plans for a Moron Muslim call to prayer in the city.

Having in principle backed plans for mosque leaders to make the loudspeaker call, the Rt Rev John Pritchard said the «dark underbelly of British society» made a number of threats against his life.

He said: «I received extraordinary mail. One said, ‘resign’ six times in a large font. One called for me to be beheaded and another said: ‘I wish I lived closer so I could spit on you.’ The dark underbelly of British society was coming out.»

A spokesman for the representatives from Oxford’s Central Mosque have repeatedly stated their wish to be able to play the muezzin’s (caller’s) traditional message to the Muslim faithful from speakers on a minaret.

Dozens of residents near the mosque, in Manzil Way, have urged the council to reject the plan, claiming it will turn the area into a «Muslim ghetto».

El obispo de Oxford ha recibido amenazas de muerte después de apoyar que la llamada a la oración tenga lugar en la ciudad. En principio apoyó los planes de los líderes de la mezquita para que hicieran la llamada a la oración y al recibirlas ha dicho que «las cloacas oscuras de la sociedad británica» han amenazado su vida.
Dijo: «He recibido correo extraordinario. Uno decía: «dimite» seis veces en un tipo de letra grande. Otro pedía que me degollaran y otro decía que «Ojalá viviera más cerca de tí para escupirte».
Un portavoz de la Mezquita Central de Oxford ha expresado su deseo varias veces de hacer que suene el tradicional mensaje del muezzin a los creyentes musulmanes desde altavoces en un minarete.
Decenas de residentes en lugares cercanos a la mezquita, en la Avenida Manzil, han pedido al Consejo que rechace el plan porque convertirá al área de un «ghetto musulmán».

El obispo está incumpliendo su obligación que es la defensa de la fe anglicana. El Consejo de la Ciudad de Oxford también, porque si lo aprueba, veremos cómo van a poder descansar los vecinos del lugar, redundando en un claro empeoramiento de su salud (aguantar al muezzin a las 5 de la mañana «cantando» como que no deja descansar bien…). Y quien le ha hecho las amenazas ha hecho el ridículo porque ahora simplemente esto se considerará por la prensa como un signo de que los no-musulmanes somos iguales que los musulmanes que se dedican a degollar a la gente o que apoyan la violencia.

Ahora bien, entiendo perfectamente lo del que pide su dimisión: yo también lo haría…

The Lone Voice escribió sobre la «petición» de los musulmanes sobre la llamada a la oración en Oxford. Las palabras del Obispo se las traen:

La idea ganó apoyos del Obispo de Oxford, el Reverendo John Pitchard, quien la pasada semana dijo que los que se oponían a la idea «debían relajarse y disfrutar de la diversidad dentro de la comunidad«.

Pero… ¿a quién demonios han aceptado como obispos en la Iglesia Anglicana? Me sumo a la petición: RESIGN, REV PITCHARD… YOU’RE A TOTAL MORON… AND I DON’T ASK FOR YOUR BEHEADING BECAUSE THAT’S SOMETHING MORE NATURAL TO SOME OF THE MUEZZIN FOLLOWERS.. 

Pero lo que si prueba este episodio es que si no se frena a los violentos de un lado no tardarán en salir los del otro. Comentario que en ningún caso justifica la absoluta imbecilidad y estupidez de nacimiento del Reverendo.
