Asesinado otro diputado antisirio en Beirut – 20minutos.es
Al menos nueva personas murieron y varias decenas resultaron heridas por una explosión en el área comercial y residencial de Horch Tabet, en el barrio Sin el Sil, en el sureste de Beirut, según informó la Cruz Roja.
Entre las víctimas mortales está el diputado antisirio Antoine Ghanem, según la agencia de noticias Reuters y los medios locales libaneses. Ghanem, de 64 años, formaba parte del partido de la Falange Cristiana.La cadena de televisión libanesa LBC ha mostrado varios coches incendiados, uno de ellos con matrícula oficial, en el lugar de la explosión. Varios edificios han quedado además muy afectados por la explosión.
El asesinato de Ghanem ha sido condenado por la ONU y la Casa Blanca, que asegura que se trata de un nuevo intento por desestabilizar el país.

And he adds «Many of the anti-Syrian members of the government are in hiding.» Except Lebanon’s Parliament Majority leader Saad al-Hariri , Druze leader Walid Jumblatt and Christian leader of the Lebanese forces party Samir Geagea, who all were at the funeral.
In an interview in Le Monde, the Assistant to the UNSC for Legal Affairs, Nicolas Michel, has stated that «till the end of the year, there would be no tribunal for the Liban«, referring to the International Tribunal which must judge the culprits of the assasination of PM Rafik Hariri.
